The IT Workforce Collaborative is comprised of volunteers, ITWFC staff and Advance IT staff. We work together as a unified whole, following a basic organizational profile to ensure the success of our initiatives, and ultimately, our mission.
Executive Committee
The Executive Committee articulates, monitors and promotes the mission, goals and strategies of the IT Workforce Collaborative, and provides oversight for overall Collaborative policies and operations.
Leadership Team
The Leadership Team is a group of the most active members of the IT Workforce Collaborative who provide direction and communications for the various standing committees. The Leadership Team meets monthly to discuss the progress and strategic direction of the IT Workforce Collaborative.
Communications & Marketing Committee
This committee is responsible for communicating the progress and direction of the IT Workforce Collaborative to our external stakeholders in business, education and government. The Communications & Marketing Committee updates the IT Workforce Collaborative's website, www.mnitworkforce.org, and esnures that the progress of all of our Standing and Project Committees is communicated thoroughly and effectively.
Supply/Demand Committee
This committee is responsible for providing an in-depth and actionable understanding of the Minnesota IT labor market for the benefit of employers, educators, workforce participants, workforce system agents, and the Collaborative itself.
Project Initiation Committee
This committee identifies high-potential ideas or programs in progress that the Collaborative could help establish, expand or maintain by facilitating awareness, new partnerships, sources of support, or organizational assistance.
Project Committees
These committees form as needed. Currently, the High School Outreach Committee conducts an outreach to high school students to increase awareness of, and interest in, IT as a career choice. "Discovering IT" is the staple project, in which area IT Professionals present the "Discovering IT" project to local high schools.
