The IT Workforce Opportunity Identification Committee is charged with:
a) Providing periodic published reports (web and print) on macro and micro views of the Minnesota IT labor market. (e.g. aggregate employment trends, graduation rates, enrollment measures, emerging skill sets, top ten skill shortages, skill sets in decline, role changes, etc.) This might become a biennial publication for policy makers and economic development purposes
b) Creation of an online Minnesota IT Labor Market Dashboard that would provide insight into the dynamics of supply and demand and metrics for judging the efficacy of overall IT workforce development efforts in the State
c) Ad hoc, fee-for-service reports for employers looking to expand or locate in Minnesota or for educators looking to document need for new programs
