MNITWFC Coordinator
This hourly role is a part-time "project management" position. We're exploring alternatives for a company-based office location. (Job description pending). The Coordinator will be jointly supervised by the chair of the leadership team and the Center executive director, assuming the position is hosted through the Center.
1. Work closely with the chairs of the Leadership Team and two standing committees (dotted lines on chart) to coordinate, document and promulgate the work of each group;
2. Serve as a resource for any project teams (dashed lines on chart) that have been formed by the Collaborative on an ad hoc, "as needed" basis. Once established, project teams would be expected to function relatively independently, as is the case with the Discovering IT Team. The Coordinator would work with project leaders to help access available resources and resolve potential obstacles.
3. Serve as the single point of contact to arrange for assistance from Center staff for a variety of support services and products. Once a project is defined and underway, Center staff will work directly with those involved but initiation would go through the Coordinator as way to prioritize and monitor workloads.
4. Serve as the key communicator for both internal and external audiences with technical and strategic support from the Communications Committee and the Center staff. (Website content, meeting outcomes, monthly updates, PR, etc.)
